SACK Magazine wishes you all a safe and prosperous 2011

Friday, December 31st, 2010

Another year finished. New Years is one my favorite times of year. Its a time where we all get to start over, a time of new beginnings, and a time of family + friends. I personally am making the most out of this by setting goals for myself for 2011… things I want to accomplish, change, and eventually become. I look at the new year with a sense of hope. A sense of optimism.

You never know who you will meet tomorrow…

I have to thank the wonderful people here at Sackmagazine.com, the past year has been amazing and I cannot tell you how much I truly appreciate you being involved with this great cause. Remember why we started this in the first place… in memory of Patrick Daly… our dear friend. Pat looked at the world in a different light than all of us, but I think we all took a little something from him when he passed… and it remains with us forever. This new year we embark on a journey together and I would not want to do it with anyone else

                   – To my parents… I could not done with without you. Andrew Gauthier (My brother who I am thankful to have everyday), Kelly Rutherford, Shawn Fetanat, Alex Tregre, Kim Williams, Cory Meyton, John Mello, Stircrazy, California Roots, Tall Treez, the hundreds of artists and musicians who have joined the Sack Magazine community, and to the fans. Thank you for your support.

Happy New year everyone. I know this is not an alcohol commercial, but I feel the need to say “celebrate responsibly”, the new year will be much better if we are all safe and sound at the end of the this wonderful evening.  – SG – Founder

Heart rate beating fast,
Rushing,
Racing my thoughts,
So I put on some drum and bass to ease my mind,
Trying to forget this world I close my eyes,
Ease into the rhythm starts off slow,
but progress with time,
My focus is switched,
Helping me to forget what I missed and loss ,
What it all coast,
Before the music notes swimed into my ears,
Anxiety controlled me like a puppeteer,
I’ve had enough,
Tired of these feelings having my hands cuffed,
So I turn up the volume to drown out these consuming thoughts that are drowning me,
Now the only thing beating fast is the bass,
Drum and bass leaves me no longer a nut case,
Free,
Now out of this cage…

Thought Science – It’s a State of Mind (innovative design-clothing, posters)

Friday, December 24th, 2010

Only the sickest designs and dopest artwork – that’s what Though Science is about.

Started in 2006 by two Atlanta artists, Tyler Brenner and Sam Alabiso, Thought Science Industries focuses on creating unique clothing designs for urban warriors.

They recently added a new artist, Josh Borrego aka J-Rego, to our group, and he brings the gritty style that encompasses the Thought Science vision.

In the short time since it was started, many other artists have started taking interest in the company. It has grown to encompass several states across the country, and is creating buzz around the nation.

Thought Science – It’s a State of Mind.

Check out the site and purchase shirts/posters here! Browse the clothing and posters and get lost in the sick designs and dope artwork.
