I am on a train not by choice but rather by necessity
Shot out of the womb alone and naked I am on my train
The tracks are steady and calm, most of the time
We are all on our own individual train
We make frequent stops
Sometimes we are in the company of many and sometimes few
The train rolls on
Some trains collide and some derail
But each train has a destination
Some of the people that board our trains only stay on for a brief time
Only a stop or maybe two, then they return to their own

In my car on my train I am home
I have all I need to be content
Because I have myself and my other passengers

Sometimes we are able to join cars with people
Who are willing to change their destination to ours
Then we are able to walk freely into their car and they to ours
One thing is certain
The train rolls on
And one day we are forced to our destination
The train rolls to a stop and are we have left is the memories of us
The memories that are told by others
Others whose train has not yet reached its destination
