25 Years of Zelda Timelapse

Came across one of the most amazing pieces of Legend of Zelda art… Ever. The painting is from Japanese artist AG+ to celebrate the game’s 25th anniversary and features, in amazing detail, pretty much every single Legend of Zelda character to ever grace the series. Timelapse video here shows the process and below we have the amazing final product.

Seung Mo Park ’s Wire Mesh Portraits

Korean artist Seung Mo Park creates cut-up layers of wire mesh by hand, to create some of the most beautiful large-scale portraits you’ve ever seen. Each of his portraits is made up of several layers of wire mesh set a few centimeters apart, each sculpted by hand. The understanding of depth perception and the patience necessary to complete just one of these amazing works of art is mind blowing.

Lego blocks are one of the most beloved toys in the world, playing a role in many a person’s childhood (mine included). But for some creators, Lego has evolved from toy to art form. Here the fine folks at PBS talk to three Lego artists who have made beautiful mosaics, amazing stop-motion videos, thoughtful sculptures, and have turned these tiny building blocks into a true artistic medium.

Here we have great coverage of the All City Canvas event in Mexico City. Boasting a stellar line up of international Street Artists including Roa, Escif, Vhils, El Mac, Saner, Herakut, Aryz, Sego and Interesni Kazki. It’s really awesome to see so many big names come together to make the city look better by spreading art around.
