126 “Fog Whisper Wanderer”
A ship named Desire sails on Swashbuckler Bay,
it’ s clenched iron fist hull slaps the wave smirks away.
A wild sea stallion ship bucks Captain Tomorrow,
as he tries to outrun life’s sea squall of sorrow.
He surpasses the speed of umbilical knots,
while inner demons chart navigational plots.
The quivering siren’s song undulates the sail,
but his glare knocks them breathless, their rosy cheeks pale.
Fruitless searching his reward, the bounty his strife,
the powerful yearning, overpowers his life.
He writes epic odyssey on every wave,
a master of legend, he will sail past his grave.
He glides on the whirl winds, where Eternity’s fly,
seeker of silver quests, shrugs off Death’s wanton cry.
His flesh sizzles to spirit, the salt bleaches his bone,
dream winds billow the sail, desiccated boards groan.
Taut scrimshawed knuckles now grasp a ghost ship wheel.
While his immortal heart edifies the keel.
An albatross cries out, misfortune on the wing,
then rising from the deep, dead sailors murmuring.
He cursed at Death’s jealousy and then at Life’s greed,
then sailed towards the horizon, approaching God’s speed.
A questing free sprit, who is locked with the sea,
ever searching for the lost continent of destiny.
