Kyle Knight: Local SD artist on the rise

Kyle Knight’s artwork is appearing in private collections all around San Diego! His motivation towards producing creative, thought-provoking pieces stems from his personal distinctions, or lack thereof, between “history and myth, fiction and reality.” He believes the society and culture we live about, so heavily influences the way we act and think, that our perceptions of reality take on a life of their own. His art begins with an idea, a feeling and becomes a compulsion to express himself.

“Kyle Knight is a self taught artist currently living in San Diego. Drawing from his life experiences and his early fascinations with art as a child, he creates striking images using any medium available. Often mixing charcoal and oil paint layered with aerosol and acrylic to ‘lock it all down.’ Kyle works fast and usually on multiple pictures at a time and he tends to jump between them as ideas and inspirations arise. Expect to hear a lot more from Kyle in the future, he wont be slowing down anytime soon.” – written by a friend of Kyle’s
